Stefano Gualandris

Stefano Gualandris is an entrepreneur active in the mechanical engineering sector, with interests also in aerospace and defence. His companies, TECHNOSPRINGS ITALIA srl and TSS-Innovationsprojekte GmbH (in Switzerland), produce springs and elastic systems, both classical and using innovative materials, and specifically for aerospace, space and defence, they are leaders in systems based on shape memory alloys. During his tenure at MISE, he contributed to the MISE-DIFESA and NATO 5 powers programming tables, primarily in support of the national defence industry. Currently at MEF, he continues to follow aerospace and defence policies as an advisor to the Minister, also interfacing with other relevant ministries. In 2018, he served as advisor to the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Hon. Giorgetti, contributing to the establishment and management of the Interministerial Committee for Space and Aerospace Policies (COMINT). He is currently involved in the working groups related to strategic Defence, aerospace and space programmes. Stefano Gualandris is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Space Agency and holds the rank of Corvette Captain in the Selected Reserve of the Italian Navy, serving at the UGSI (General Office for Space and Innovation).
