Event
Space Economy growth is transforming the aerospace sector into an increasingly expansive ecosystem, capable of generating new industrial and employment opportunities and drawing on expertise from diverse fields.
This session will examine the evolving demand for professional skills within the sector, focusing on the technical and specialized profiles currently in highest demand: ranging from aerospace and satellite engineering to digital systems, data analysis and artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, as well as expertise in automation and advanced materials.
Despite significant market growth, a mismatch persists between the skills required by companies and those available, making education and career guidance pivotal. Schools, universities, ITS Academies, businesses, and institutions are called upon to build an ecosystem that connects young people with new Space Economy professions and supports regional competitiveness.
The session will examine Space Economy's capacity to translate technological innovation into new professional and employment opportunities for young generations.
