This session will explore the challenges and opportunities facing Italian start-ups, highlighting their role in leveraging the creativity and innovative capacity of Italy's industrial and technological ecosystem.
Innovative start-ups and microenterprises are playing an increasingly important role in the Space Economy, thanks to their ability to develop agile technological solutions and flexible business models. The discussion will focus on the crucial contribution of these emerging companies to the development of satellite applications, value-added services, and new value chains connected to the space sector.
In an ecosystem characterised by rapid technological evolution and growing international competition, strengthening both public and private support for emerging companies is a strategic priority. The session will examine the importance of targeted financial instruments, access to infrastructure, and collaborative pathways involving universities, research centres, and leading industrial players to foster innovation and accelerate growth.
