Event
Italy’s automotive excellence has grown through two distinct industrial cultures.
On one side, the Automotive Heartland of Piedmont, shaped by a long tradition of large-scale manufacturing, engineering, system integration and an extensive industrial supply chain. On the other, the Motor Valley, where high performance, racing, luxury and highly specialized engineering have fostered a culture built around speed, experimentation and continuous technological improvement.
Different histories, different industrial mindsets, yet an increasingly shared destination: space.
This conversation explores how the skills, technologies and methods developed within these two automotive ecosystems are finding new applications in the space economy. From advanced materials, precision manufacturing and electronics to simulation, data, reliability and high-performance engineering, automotive know-how is creating new opportunities for cross-sector technology transfer.
A dialogue on how two different approaches to innovation can generate new collaborations, technologies and business opportunities, demonstrating that there is more than one road from automotive excellence to orbit.
