Alberto Corbelli

Born in Rimini in 1983, Alberto Corbelli currently heads the Thermomechanical Engineering and Harness Department at SITAEL and operates at the Forlì branch office. During his studies, completed in 2027 with the achievement of a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bologna, he participated together with other colleagues and professors from the same University in the creation of the spin-off ALMASpace in 2008, following among various projects the development and launch of ALMASat-1, UNIBO's first satellite, and ESEO, on behalf of ESA. From 2014, with the acquisition of the company by SITAEL, he has held various roles in the field of thermomechanical design and verification of units and satellites, contributing to the creation of the team and work procedures currently in use, and more recently to the creation of the Harness Design and Manufacturing team. He was also, between 2021 and 2024, Technical Manager of the microHETSat mission, a fully made in Italy and completely electric satellite to successfully operate a European miniHET system in flight, led by the Forlì office.
