Davide Silvestri is an Aerospace Engineer with a PhD in Advanced Engineering Sciences from the University of Bologna, where his research focused on spacecraft navigation and planetary exploration through the analysis of optical observations from interplanetary missions. His professional journey spans diverse sectors, from planetary exploration and spacecraft navigation research to automotive engineering, precision agriculture, industrial inspection and advanced manufacturing. Across these domains, he has applied artificial intelligence technologies including computer vision, machine learning, anomaly detection, digital twins and synthetic data generation. Today as part of the BlueTensor department of Sideius he develops AI-driven solutions for non-destructive inspection helping bridge cutting-edge research and real-world customer needs.
