Eleonora Lombardi

Eleonora Lombardi is Head of Department and ESA Business Applications Ambassador for Italy at Fondazione E. Amaldi, with over ten years of experience across the European space, innovation and technology-transfer ecosystem. She specialises in connecting space and non-space industries, supporting companies in developing innovative space-enabled services, accessing funding opportunities and building strategic partnerships. Throughout her career, Eleonora has worked closely with ESA, European institutions, industry, research organisations, investors and startups, coordinating complex innovation programmes and supporting companies in accessing ESA Business Applications and other European funding instruments. She will present the opportunities offered by the ESA BASS programme, highlighting how companies can leverage space assets to develop commercially viable solutions, access ESA funding and technical support, and benefit from the guidance and ecosystem-building activities provided in Italy by Fondazione E. Amaldi.
