Fausto Starita

Fausto Starita is a commercial manager with over 25 years of experience in ICT and satellite telecommunications, specialised in the development of complex markets, the management of institutional clients, and the establishment of new business initiatives. Since 2023, he has been Head of Sales Italy for the Satellite Communications Line of Business at Telespazio S.p.A. (Leonardo-Thales joint venture), where he leads a commercial team of 7 people and is responsible for developing the Italian SatCom market in the Public Administration, Police Forces, Oil & Gas, Energy, Telco, Industry, and Leonardo Group sectors. His career at Telespazio began in 2005 as Sales Manager for the PA market, with responsibility for the entire product portfolio. In 2010, following a reorganisation into Lines of Business, he took on the role of Sales Manager of the PA & Government unit within SatCom, contributing to satellite solutions to address the digital divide and to hybrid satellite-terrestrial networks for public administration. Previously, he worked at Finmatica S.p.A. and Intesis Engineering S.r.l., in the ICT sector, on e-Government, e-Procurement, and cybersecurity solutions for the public administration. He began his career at Bull Italia S.p.A., where over more than ten years he progressed from technical roles to responsibilities in Project Management and Sales Management. Today he is also engaged in the development of new initiatives in the Advanced Air Mobility sector, with a focus on digital and communication infrastructures for future aerial operations, leveraging his expertise in the integration of satellite and terrestrial technologies and in building ecosystems among industry, institutions, and operators.
