Frederic Monteverde is a Senior Researcher in the Institute of Science, Technology and Sustainability for Ceramics (ISSMC) at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). He earned a degree in Physics at the University of Bologna in 1990. He got a permanent position in 1994 at ISSMC-CNR. His current research focuses on the synthesis, processing, characterization, and properties of structural ceramics, in particular ultra-high temperature ceramics. He has published more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals and given several (invited) presentations on his research.
