Giuseppe Sala

Giuseppe Sala is full Professor in Aerospace Structures and Constructions since 2002. Presently, he holds courses in Integrated Management of Aerospace Production Systems (Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering) at Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of Politecnico di Milano and Science and Engineering of Advanced Aerospace Materials (Ph. Doctoral School of the same University).  Since 2017 he has been the head of Department of Aerospace Science and Technology, as well as member of the Academic Senate for 10 years.  He is the author of more than 250 printed papers in the fields of advanced and smart materials and innovative technologies, published in international magazines or presented at international conferences. Giuseppe Sala was in charge as coordinator of 7 European and 21 National Research Projects, as well as reviewer of 5 European Research Programs.  Moreover, he acts/acted as principal investigator in several research programs funded by the major Italian companies in the field of aerospace.
