Project Manager High Technology Network Unit, ART-ER S.Cons.P.A.
Lorenzo Calabri is a project manager in ART-ER, working in the field of Mechatronics and motoristics: coordinating laboratories of the High Technology Network in this field, managing projects on production technologies (3D printing), nanomaterials and aerospace. He is the contact person for the AEROSPACE sector and for the coordination of the regional strategic forum on Aerospace. He is also the reference person for the strategic ART-ER working group on the “future of mobility”.
He is a Mechanical engineer and PhD, with expertise in Nanotechnology and in particular in mechanical properties of nanomaterials (nanocoating, hard thin films, nanocomposite, nanoparticles and nanotubes) and in characterization techniques (Nanoindentation, Nanotribology, SEM and AFM microscopy). Focus on industrial application of nanomaterials (past experience in start-up companies in the nanotechnology area).
