Luca Bonfiglioli

Luca Bonfiglioli is Head of Engineering Systems, BIM and Modelling at Heratech, a company of the Hera Group. He coordinates the development of digital platforms for engineering and the application of BIM methodologies and advanced hydraulic modelling to support the design and planning of infrastructure. His work is focused on water system planning, hydraulic risk mitigation and adaptation to climate change. Currently, together with his team, he supports several public administrations in Emilia-Romagna in defining territorial resilience strategies following the extreme weather and climate events that have affected the region. Central to his work is the integration of digital engineering, data-driven modelling and asset management to support strategic decisions and promote the sustainable evolution of water infrastructure.
