Marco Pizzarelli, aerospace engineer and PhD in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, is a Senior Researcher at the Italian Space Agency, where he currently serves as Head of the Technology Transfer Sector. He oversees technology transfer activities (spin-in and spin-out) in the space sector and interacts with the non-space community; he manages, expands and enhances the patent portfolio. His research activity mainly concerns thermo-fluid-dynamic and thermo-mechanical analysis and modelling of combustion chambers for liquid propellant rockets.
