Michele Andolfo is Chief Executive Officer and Research & Development Director at Artigo, an Italian company specialising in the production of vulcanised rubber flooring for contract and sports applications. With a background in Industrial Chemistry and a strongly innovation-oriented approach, he coordinates the company's Operations, sustainability and technological development activities. In recent years, he has led industrial innovation projects focused on the circular economy, carbon footprint reduction, material recovery and production process optimisation, collaborating with industrial partners, universities and European research centres. He has been involved in several European Union-funded projects in the areas of sustainability and advanced materials. At Bioeconomy Day 2026, he will bring Artigo's experience in transforming ecodesign and sustainability into a concrete and competitive industrial model.
