Raffaello Cesoni

Raffaello Cesoni holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin. He has built his professional career in autonomous robotics and unmanned systems, combining research, technological innovation, and entrepreneurship. He worked as a researcher at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, developing artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms for autonomous rover navigation in extreme environments, with a particular focus on planetary exploration. He subsequently gained extensive experience in the aerospace and unmanned aerial systems (UAV) sectors, eventually becoming CEO of a company specializing in drone design and manufacturing. In this role, he led the company's technological and industrial development, managing projects and collaborations with major national and international organizations, including Terna, ENEL, TotalEnergies, and ENAV. He is the founder and CEO of Rafla Tech, an innovative startup specializing in the development of autonomous aerial and ground robotic systems integrating artificial intelligence, advanced sensing technologies, and remote management capabilities. Today, he leads the company with the aim of bringing autonomous robotics to strategic sectors such as energy, critical infrastructure, industry, and agriculture, turning technological innovation into practical solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational continuity.
