Aerospace Sector Coordinator, AIAD - Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defence and Security

After graduating in Electronic Engineering from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome in 1988, he began his career at Datamat S.p.A. as a software engineer in the field of mission simulations. He then moved to the space systems and applications sector, leading the engineering team involved in the design, development, and testing of User Services for the ENVISAT-1 satellite on behalf of the European Space Agency.
Since 2000, he has been responsible for all R&D projects on distributed computing infrastructures and services (Grid, Cloud), focusing primarily on their use in the Space domain.

At Telespazio since 2011, he held the position of Head of Satellite Ground Segment and On-Board Software programmes, managing, among other things, the development programs for the Control Bench and Flight Software for the small European launcher VEGA.
In 2017, he joined the Chief Technology Office team as Head of Technology, IPR, and Product Policy, responsible also for the Technological and Product Innovation Plan for the entire Telespazio Group.
In 2023, he was appointed Vice President, National and European Funded Programmes, with responsibility for subsidized funding for R&D and Innovation.

Since April 2025, he is the Aerospace Sector Coordinator at AIAD.
