ESA Technology Broker for Italy and ESA InCubed Ambassador
 

Stefano Carosio is Executive Director of STAM S.r.l., an engineering and innovation company operating at European level. With over 30 years of experience, he works at the intersection of space and non-space sectors, supporting the commercialisation of advanced technologies, technology transfer and the development of new business models. He serves as ESA Technology Broker for Italy and ESA InCubed Ambassador, facilitating access to funding and cross-sector collaboration. He has coordinated more than 100 European projects across space, energy, advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, life sciences, agrifood and circular bioeconomy. He is involved in the commercialisation of the ESA Space Rider programme and in shaping strategies for access to microgravity and the LEO economy, supporting non-space companies entering the space sector. He also contributes to business acceleration activities within the Africa Business Innovation Lab at the Kenya Space Agency, under the EU–Africa Space Partnership Programme (AESPP).
