Stefano Gualandris

Stefano Gualandris is an entrepreneur active in the mechanical engineering sector, with interests also in aerospace and defense. His companies, TECHNOSPRINGS ITALIA S.r.l. and TSS-Innovationsprojekte GmbH (Switzerland), manufacture conventional and innovative-material springs and elastic systems. In the aerospace, space, and defense sectors, they are leaders in shape-memory alloy-based systems. During his tenure at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE), he contributed to MISE–Ministry of Defense and NATO Five Powers planning and coordination working groups, primarily in support of Italy’s national defense industry. He currently serves as an advisor to the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance (MEF), where he continues to work on aerospace and defense policies, also liaising with other relevant ministries and government institutions. In 2018, he served as an advisor to the Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Hon. Giancarlo Giorgetti, contributing to the establishment and management of the Interministerial Committee for Space and Aerospace Policies (COMINT). He is currently involved in working groups addressing strategic programs in the fields of defense, aerospace, and space.
