Daniele Sarri

Daniele Sarri is an associate professor at the DAGRI department of the University of Florence at the School of Agriculture in the biosystems engineering section, where he is the scientific director of research related to precision agriculture technologies, robotics and digitalization. He is the scientific director of national projects on the use of robotic technologies, and has participated and continues to participate in national and international research projects on robotics applied to agriculture and on training in the use of technologies. He teaches courses in agricultural machinery engineering and in the digital and high-technology agriculture laboratory. He is a member of the Italian Association of Agricultural Engineering, of the Accademia dei Georgofili as a corresponding academician, and of the Italian Academy of Vine and Wine. Technical coordinator of the joint university-industry laboratory AgriSmartLab - SmartFarmingLab for the development of innovative technologies and digital platforms for agriculture.
