David Stefano Zolesi is the CEO of Kayser Italia and Managing Director of Kayser Space Ltd., a UK-based company established in 2015 to take the expertise gained by Kayser Italia in microgravity scientific research to an international level. Holding a degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa, he began his career at Kayser Italia in 1995 as a Project Engineer, steadily taking on increasing responsibilities in managing R&D projects and international relations. From 2009 to 2022, he served as Executive Officer in charge of R&D projects and international relations, before being appointed President of Kayser Italia in July 2022. Following Kayser's integration into the FAE Technology group, he assumed the role of CEO of Kayser Italia.His passion for space, sparked during his teenage years 'because of' his father, evolved over time into a dedicated professional career developing technologies and opportunities for scientific research in space.
