Nicola Gherardi

Biography

Nicola Gherardi Ravalli Modoni is an agricultural entrepreneur from Ferrara with extensive experience in the agri-food, associative and institutional sectors. After completing his education at the Istituto Agrario F.lli Navarra in Ferrara, he developed his professional career by combining entrepreneurial activity with numerous representation and administrative roles in the agricultural sector. He began his associative engagement as President of the Ferrara Section of the Associazione Nazionale Giovani Agricoltori, subsequently serving, from 2004 to 2007, as Treasurer of Confagricoltura Ferrara. Over the years, he has served as President of Confagricoltura Ferrara and Vice President of Confagricoltura Emilia-Romagna, as well as Vice President of CAA Confagricoltura. His experience has also extended to the economic-financial and institutional spheres, with roles on boards of directors and governing bodies of various organisations, including SIFER S.p.A., Banca Popolare di Roma, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ferrara, ANB COOP, ENAMA and the Camera di Commercio di Ferrara. Of particular significance has been his commitment to the development of agri-energy and renewable energy, through administrative and presidential roles in companies such as Agrisviluppo, EnergyTellus, ANB Holding, Galastena and San Giuseppe Agroenergia. He is currently President of the Fondazione per l'Agricoltura F.lli Navarra, a member of the National Executive Board of Confagricoltura, President of ANB – Associazione Nazionale Bieticoltori, and continues to carry out his activity as an agricultural entrepreneur. His professional career is characterised by well-established experience in representing the interests of the agricultural world, in managing organisations and businesses, and in promoting the development and innovation of the primary sector.
